FX's What We Do in the Shadows is set to return for its sixth and final season, and it promises to be the most hilarious and bloodthirsty yet. EP Paul Simms and cast members Matt Berry, Kayvan Novak, Mark Proksch, and Kristen Schaal sat down with us to give us a sneak peek of what's to come.
"We're going out with a bang," Simms said. "This season is going to be the biggest and best yet, with more vampires, more blood, and more laughs than ever before."
The new season will see the vampires facing their biggest challenge yet: a group of vampire hunters who are determined to destroy them. "It's going to be a battle for survival," Novak said. "But the vampires are going to fight back, and they're going to do it with their usual style and flair."
In addition to the vampire hunters, the new season will also introduce a new vampire named Michael Patrick O'Brien (played by Michael Patrick O'Brien). O'Brien is a young, idealistic vampire who is just trying to find his place in the world. "He's a bit of a fish out of water," Proksch said. "But he's also a great addition to the group."
The cast of What We Do in the Shadows is excited for fans to see the new season. "It's going to be the best season yet," Schaal said. "We can't wait for everyone to see it."
What We Do in the Shadows Season 6 premieres on FX on September 29th.
